This DVD from ATV was originally produced in Italian and had been dubbed into English for its UK release. More about that later.

Fuck Fighter is released with the strap line “They’d Rather Fuck Then Fight” the billing of this DVD  is somewhat misleading. The girls don’t fight and the fighting between the guys is limited to the non-sexual part of this DVD’s plot. Yes, that’s right I said this DVD has a plot.

The main protagonist André is a loving son whose mother has money issues. To pay off the debts André decides to get involved in illegal bare knuckle/martial arts fighting. At the same time his girlfriend dumps him and takes off with a local playboy. His martial arts teacher doesn’t like his involvement with the dubious characters the fights involve but eventually helps him train.

The rest of the plot moves from sex scene to sex scene with the first featuring André’s ex-girlfriend and her new love interest who enjoy a threesome with the playboy’s maid.

There are three-ways, both f-m-f and m-f-m as well as boy-girl couplings. What’s also interesting is that there are a wide variety of performers, male and female in this production. They will not all be to everyone’s tastes but there’s something for everyone because the producers of this DVD didn’t stick to the dull template that a lot of porn people seem to adhere to. The girls are natural and the guys are believable as men on the street types but are obviously professionals in the bedroom.

The dubbing is hilarious and if you have ever seen any 1970s porn, then multiply the cringe-factor by two you’ll know what to expect. Here’s a sample:

That said the dubbing actually adds to the DVD, as does the plot. The inappropriate voice actors desperately trying to lip-sync and sound horny is endearing and the fact that people still make porn with enough care to think about the plot is another bonus.

The incidental music is never intrusive, though occasionally amusing. It too makes you think you are watching a 1970s martial arts movie.

With 6 scenes and of nearly two hours and a narrative to link them together the runtime is not surprising and unlike some other productions does not seem over-long. Lighting, sound and camera are professional ensure that you don’t miss any of the action. The outdoor scenes is unusual and refreshing and well worth the extra effort that filming away from a studio requires. Don’t expect sweeping vistas and dramatic tracking shots here but do appreciate the extra effort put into this production.

I like this DVD for all sorts of reasons but to sum it up very simply I’d have to say I like it because it’s different and tries to give you a little more than the standard 4-6 scenes with no plot and fixed format of tease, strip, fuck then facial that so many DVDs throw at you ceaselessly at the moment.

I thoroughly recommend this DVD, especially for those of you fed up of other adult movies that seem to consist of conveyor belt fucking.

Marc Dorcel is a multi-award winning French producer of pornography and with 30 years in the business you would expect him to have a huge back catalogue to draw on. With a list of adult accolades that would make a Hollywood director/producer weep he has been in the industry longer than many of its current employees have been alive.

The first disk of the set contains scenes from 1981, 82 and 1988. The video quality is excellent considering the age and the slightly odd colour balance and saturation add to the atmosphere as you are transported back to the early days of porn on VHS cassette.

The subsequent DVDs in this six disk collection bring you from the 1980s to 2009 giving you a chance to experience three decades of evolution of one of Europe’s best known porn houses.

For the most part the scenes are good with a few awkward scenarios in there, well you can’t win them all. The models are generally of the highest quality and the production values high enough to ensure you don’t get the feeling that the shoot took place in someone’s back yard.

At times some of the later scenes are a little frenzied in pace and this feeling of haste is amplified by some pretty vicious editing which caused the action to jump abruptly at times.

This DVD collection is at its best when it’s being different and a little bit strange. The early scenes and those (like the cat burglar scenario) which display obvious imagination are the ones that will have you coming back for more. The size of this set meant that we watched it over a couple of weeks and there are a few scenes which I’d like to go back and watch again immediately. Not something that could be said of many of DVDs we are sent to review.

So has this former sewing machine engineer and haulage contractor done himself justice? Well yes and no, which one depends on what you are looking for from the box sex. If you want a huge box of French porn with some gorgeous women and scenarios that actually do try and tell a story then yes this is a great purchase. The narrative doesn’t get in the way of the fucking and the naivety of some of the earlier scenes is as alluring as the girls. If you were looking for a lot of early retro porn then you might be a little disappointed. After the first disk the scenes are more contemporary and even though they cover the last two decades they quickly take on the look of present day porn.

This is a great buy for Dorcel fans and a contains a huge amount of variety so it’ll take you ages to get bored of this adult DVD box set.

Oh, one last thing. For some reason you get an embossed metal plaque with the same design as the box set cover when you buy this DVD. The corners are drilled so you can hang it up or screw it to your wall if you like. Different.

I have to begin this DVD review by asking why it is called La Corsetry La Femme? Yes there are corsets, but all in the style of the 1940s and 50s. There’s nothing wrong with that, in fact I love that era of pinup girls, it’s just that the overwhelming feeling I get from this DVD is pinup girl, almost burlesque. Not corsetry.

The production on this DVD is by Playboy TV UK. From the “Uncut” subtitle I’m assuming an 18 version for British TV was produced and this is the uncensored edition. The twist is that the scenes have atmosphere. These are not cinematic masterpieces, but the filming, lighting, direction, sets and costumes do create a richness that is normally lacking in porn. Fans of the 1940s and 50s will love the retro feel and the almost total avoidance of 21^st century porn clichés. Yes things do get a little laddish in one scene (which I’ll come to later) but for the most part this is a DVD that stands out as trying, and succeeding to be different.

The DVD contains a mixture of scenarios, all with the mid 20^th century feel.

Scene one is girl-girl, with a little vibrator fun thrown in. From fully clothes to cavorting on the bed pretty much naked with a golden sex toy the scene draws you in. It is not alone in suffering from the problem of how to show a female orgasm effectively on camera it’s enjoyable and different.

Yes the DVD isn’t perfect but it is far superior to the majority of thoughtless carbon-copy porn on the shelves.

This production is from the Tanya Hyde stable and offers a well light and produced collection of four scenes but don’t think that you will be short changed in terms of viewing time because the run time is an action packed 3 hrs and 24 minutes.

Don’t expect to see any men featured on this DVD though, as the cover says “Fem Adagio is the slow tempo of passion which builds in the love between women Fem is the rhythm of women”.

It was refreshing to see dildos being used in this production, so often they are licked and sucked and then put to one side in hetrosexual porn.  In Fem Adagio they are used to their full potential to give pleasure.

All the scenes have a similar format starting with solo play, each girl playing with herself for a while before coming together with one or more partners for the main scene.

The first scene is my favourite for a number of reasons.  Mainly because it is the most convincing girl on girl scene, the girls seem to really get in to the action and enjoy pleasuring each other.  The voyeur is led to believe that the girls could be a genuine couple off set.  Well, I can dream.  And the final scene involving a stap-on is simply hot and worth the wait.  I thought the DVD got off to a great start and was eager to see more.

I still held hope there was time to redeem this DVD with scene four beginning with a girl dressed in a beautiful black gown and the other in a man’s suit complete with tie. Uhmm, I thought this could be a little kinky.  It wasn’t to be and we had more of the same uninspired copulation.  The faultless production quality of Fem Adagio didn’t redeem the constant gurning to camera and looking at the screen which failed to do it for me.

Could scene five be the one.  Two girls out on a veranda perched rather precariously on a stone wall whilst being fucked with a metal dildo just didn’t work either.  The whole thing looked very uncomfortable and unconvincing.

I really do feel let down by this DVD, in many ways, they have missed so many opportunities to make a fantastic girl on girl DVD.  If the girls hadn’t been instructed to over act each scene and been give the chance to take on a more natural role it would have been so much more arousing, almost perfect.  I also feel that the perfect opportunity to use a double dildo was overlooked, if you can’t use it in any of these scenes then where could you use it?  An opportunity missed.

All that said, I did enjoy the girls and the high production value of this DVD it’s just a shame they tried to make it too much like heterosexual porn.

It does however have little to differentiate it from dozens of other similar titles in terms of variety and originality of content.

One long gang bang throughout the movie the DVD departs from the usual scene 1, 2, 3 … format as although it is divided into chapters the whole DVD is a rolling orgy.
